About me

Hello. 🙂 My name is Jadzia. In a nutshell, I am a young adult wackjob with 99 problems. That’s the flippant description.

If you want something more serious, I am a writer, photographer, and trying to become an artist. I am not professional by any stretch, however. The most I’ve published so far are the articles on this blog.

Mentally, I struggle with some depression, severe anxiety, and potentially ADHD/ADD. I never took the time to get a diagnosis for that last one, though, but my family wonders, lol.

Religiously, I am a protestant Christian. Besides that, I have no denomination; none of them suit me. And since church has done nothing but screw me and my family over, I’ve decided to never go again.

My generation designation is Generation Z. Try saying that seven times fast.

My MBTI type is INFP-T according to the 16 Personalities website; Introvert, iNtuitive, Feeling, and Perceptive, which means my cognitive functions are Fi Ne Si Te—you’ll have to look it up. This generally means that I am weird and considered by society to act more impractical than realistic. In some ways, that is quite true. The ‘T’ stands for Turbulent. Take that as you will, but overall, it means I don’t like myself very much.

I also don’t like leaving a negative impact on people unless I’m extremely angry at them to the point of hellfire hatefulness.

I hate conflict. Even when it isn’t I who’s arguing.

I don’t like bullcrap either, which is why I don’t like politics. Yet, I’ll bullcrap my way out of expressing my emotions if I feel they’re too vulnerable to put out in the open.

And now, I’m feeling depressed with the prose. So… I love cartoons. Especially Phineas and Ferb; I have say it is my favorite cartoon so far. I wish I grew up watching more of them when I was younger.

I love sci-fi, like the first three seasons of the 2012 version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the survival game Subnautica. I also love fantasy, like Narnia and Super Mario Bros. And don’t forget the mixture of the two genres, like Phase One and Two of the MCU, DC superhero shows, Transformers, Star Wars, and Star Trek. Did I just say Star Trek was a mix of sci-fi and fantasy? Yes I did. Watch Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, or the entire Deep Space Nine series, and you’ll see what I mean.

I love Spring. It’s my favorite season of the year. It represents new life and open opportunities. As well as an end to frigid weather and the depressing sight of dead tree branches. Spring welcomes you outdoors to enjoy the sunlight, when it isn’t bringing life-water to your garden and exciting thunderstorms as it gets closer to Summer. Flowery prose abounds.

I don’t have a favorite color, but I tend to gravitate towards the cooler colors. I have a whole psychological theory on that subject, but I’m no psych student at university just yet. So, I probably can’t give any accuracy to my statements whatsoever.

There are many more things I could say about myself, but there’s so much to tell that they’re all blurring together to create the illusion that my mind is drawing a blank. So, I’m gonna leave it here like this for now.

Have a wonderful day. 🙂
